Office of the Trustee / Charlie Cardwell
Charlie Cardwell was appointed Trustee in 1993 after the untimely death of Bill Garrett. Subsequently he has been elected by the voters of Davidson County to four 4-year terms.
During his time in the Trustee’s Office, he has strived to make the office more efficient with a new tax accounting system. We now have a new program called tax freeze as well as the tax relief program.
Mr. Cardwell is active in the County Officials Association of Tennessee and very much involved in local civic organizations.
