Meeting Dates & Submittal Deadlines

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the overwhelming number of SWMC applications received at the last minute on Wednesdays and the time required to review each application, the deadline to submit complete SWMC applications is NOON on the application submittal deadline date as noted below. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit applications as early as possible for review prior to the deadline. Incomplete application packages will be returned to the applicant and not placed on the agenda.

PLEASE NOTE: The SWMC recommends that each applicant schedule a meeting with Stormwater - Development Review Staff, prior to the SWMC meeting, to include discussion with regard to any flooding issues or any buffer disturbance issues and allow Staff to have the opportunity for meaningful review and to provide flood study and mitigation plan recommendations and any other recommendations they deem appropriate. It shall be the responsibility of each applicant to schedule a meeting or provide Staff an opportunity to meaningfully review and comment. The recommendation from the Staff-level meeting does not preclude the potential that any Committee member may have additional questions or request additional information or level of study during the meeting.

The Metropolitan Nashville - Davidson County Stormwater Management Committee (SWMC) has adopted a monthly meeting schedule. The Committee shall meet on the first Thursday of each month beginning October 2008.
