2008 Great American Cleanup Results

The Great American Cleanup is an annual event of neighborhood cleanups during the months of March - May. This year 27,029 volunteers spent 72,804 hours cleaning up all over Davidson County! Lawrence Jackson Receiving Award
Lawrence Jackson, Metro Beautification Neighborhood Liaison, was recently presented with Flatrock Heritage Foundation, Inc.'s Good Neighbor Award. "This award is for Lawrence's continued spport on our behalf, " remarked Noel Whitley, past-president of Flatrock. "We are incredibly thankful; it is so nice to have our Metro Departments expend positive energy on our behalf." Flatrock Heritage Foundation, Inc. represents the Glencliff, Radnor and Woodbine neighborhoods. Michael Hullett is the current president.
