Volunteer opportunities are available for groups or individuals wanting to enhance the quality of life for Bordeaux Long-Term Care residents.
Opportunities are available for individual visits with residents; adopting a “grandparent”; pet therapy visits; reading to residents in both group or individual settings; engaging residents in board games/card games and outdoor activities; presenting musical programs; providing manicures and coordinating crafts/hobbies.
The Volunteer office will work to tailor on-going or one-time community service volunteer commitments, allowing individuals to share their diverse talents and interests with our residents.
The video footage on one of BLTC’s therapy dogs is provided with permission from WSMV-Channel 4 and Janet Carol Richardson, producer of the Unsung Heroes series featuring Baker and Kitty Holbrook.
