Fileroom
The file room is a function of the Chancery Court where legal documents for lawsuits are maintained. These files (cases) are available to the general public. Files are currently stored on site for cases from 2002 to present. Files for cases older than 2002 are maintained at an off site archive facility. The file room staff retrieves files every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Files are not available for check out, they must be viewed in the office of the Clerk and Master. Copies may be purchased at the following prices:
Regular copy: $.50 per page
True copy: $1.00 for the first page and $.50 for each additional page
Certified copy: $5.00 for seal and $.50 for each page
Exemplified copy: $6.00 for the front page and $2.00 for each page
Copies are made until 4:00 p.m. each business day. Copies over $10.00 are to be paid in book keeping. Please allow extra time for bulk copies. When a large copy request is made, there will be an additional fee added to the final cost.
