Pay The Fine And Cost.
You have the option to pay the fine and cost due on all violations of a Metropolitan Ordinance, with the exception of a citation written for a vicious dog, on or before your scheduled court date. If, however, you have been written a citation for a vicious dog, you must appear in court. With the exception of an excessive alarm violation, the fine and cost for any Metro Misdemeanor violation of any Metro Ordinance is the same.

Here’s What To Do To Pay Your Citation by Mail:Mail the following to the Traffic Violation Bureau at our mailing address so that they are RECEIVED on or before the court date on the bottom of your citation.
Nullifiable ViolationsIf you have been cited for a nullifiable violation and can provide proof that it has been corrected, you may pay a $12.00 nullification fee and $42.00 administrative fee instead of the fine and cost for that violation. These violations are nullifiable and must be paid in person or by mail:
