Community Education
Metro Nashville Community Education is sponsored by the Metropolitan Nashville Community Education Commission of the Metropolitan Government.
Through Community Education Commission, there are numerous learning opportunities for people of all ages. If you'd like to make a suggestion regarding any of our programs, please call (615) 298-6765.
Overview
- Most classes/activities are offered in the afternoon and evening
- There are six Community Education sites as well as satellites through out Davidson County. Most are at various Metropolitan Nashville Public School buildings.
- Organized into three semesters, beginning in September, February and June
- Serving the community for over 30 years
- Cost-effective: the program is partially supported by tuition that is paid by participants
- Providing qualified instructors from the educational and business communities.
