A permit is necessary for construction, demolition, alteration, or repair of a building. Work that's part of normal maintenance does not require a permit. Do I need a permit?
Residential building permits are usually issued through a shorter and simpler process than the one used for large commercial projects.
Permit applications are made through the Codes Department, in person or electronically through Codes' "E-Permit" system. where registered users can
