2008 ECC Employee Appreciation Banquet
On April 15, 2009, the Metro Nashville Emergency Communications Center hosted its annual Employee Recognition Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the Sheraton Music City Hotel.
Special guest speakers included Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, ECC Director Duane Phillips, Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas and Woodbine Cumberland Presbyterian Church Pastor Ray DeVries.
Pastor DeVries was involved in a near-fatal car accident on September 20, 2008. A passerby called 9-1-1 to report the accident and Call taker Pam Davis provided critical instructions on how to clear DeVries airway, saving his life. Pam was introduced to Pastor DeVries at the banquet and he thanked her for her service.
Awards and Recognition
