After 25 years of dedicated service to the first responders and citizens of Nashville, Barbara Smoot has decided it is time for her next big adventure...Retirement! A special celebration was held in her honor on Friday, August 28, 2009. Everyone at the Emergency Communications Center is sad to see her go and wish her nothing but the best.
