Nashville Emergency Communications Center’s Speakers Bureau
Metro Nashville’s Emergency Communications Center has launched a Speakers Bureau in an effort to better inform citizens and business leaders about our operation. It is our goal to educate every resident of our services, and in turn, clear up any confusion and make it a less stressful experience when you contact us during an emergency situation.
On average, every individual in the U.S. will call for emergency assistance at least twice during their lifetime. Our agency is typically your initial emergency contact in Metro Nashville, providing life-saving assistance over the phone while dispatching the necessary first responders to your emergency. This is a service we provide 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.
We’d like you to know all there is to know about the center, including what happens when you report a crime and what questions you may be asked if you report a fire or medical emergency. Therefore, we have created a speakers bureau that includes a specialized group of ECC employees with several years of call taking and dispatch experience to respond to your requests. We are available to speak at your organization meeting or event free of charge.
Please complete the online speaker request form attached below at least one month in advance of your event/meeting. If you would like another Metro Nashville government agency to be involved, please let us know as we can facilitate this request for you.
Your request is being sent to the Emergency Communications Center. You should receive a reply within approximately 72 hours. If you do not receive a reply to your request within 72 hours, please feel free to contact Lisa Fulton at (615) 401-6277. Thank you.
