COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT FUND (CEF) GRANTS FOR FY13
For FY13, Metro is continuing the Community Enhancement (CEF) Grant program for Nashville non-profit organizations. The CEF is designed to meet community needs by funding:
- Services not currently provided by Metro Nashville Government.
- Services which enhance those already provided by Metro Nashville Government.
The program proposes to award grants in the three categories below. The Mayor included the following allocations for each category in the FY12 budget, and we anticipate funding levels will be similar in FY13. The Mayor will submit his budget proposal to Metro Council before May 1st.
- Domestic Violence $675,000
- Afterschool Programs $675,000
- Community Service $450,000
Review Panel Sessions for each category will be held in June, and a list of applications recommended for award will be sent to the Mayor. A final decision about which applications will be funded will be made by Metro Council at its July 17 meeting. After that date, please check this page for a list of recipients.
