Procurement Standards Board
The board is composed of five members as follows
- The Director of Finance serves as chairperson
- The Director of Law
- A Department Head, appointed by the Mayor
- Two outside members, not employees or elected officials appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council
Of the five members, at least one shall be female and another African American.
Powers and Duties
The Standards Board has the authority and responsibility to establish Procurement Regulations governing the procurement process, management, policy, control and disposal of supplies, services and construction procured by Metro.
