Metro uses the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC ®) to classify the procurements it is seeking to purchase and for our suppliers to classify the products and services they supply.
The code provides an open, global multi-sector standard for efficient, accurate classification of products and services. Search the code on this website to locate commodity codes that can be used by your company.

UNSPSC offers a free on-demand webinar to provide an overview of the codeset and information describing how and why it is used.
