David joined the Division of Purchasing and Contract Management in 2005, bringing with him over 30 years experience in non-profit and government management. Mr. Friedlander has served in the Metro Government since 2000, three years with Metro ITS and two years with General Services where he specialized in IT procurement of hardware and software.
David worked for the State of Tennessee from 1987-1995 for several departments in an administrative capacity and served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers from 1995-2000. He recently received his certification as a Certified Public Purchasing Buyer by the NIGP.
