Jay joined Metro Nashville Government in mid 2007 as a contract specialist. His prior experience was in the computer hardware and service industry, mainly in the IBM A/S400 Arena.
After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University he started in the computer business in sales and progressed to Broker and wholesale manager before later building his own business.
In recent years he has been heavily involved in the IT project management side of the services business and sat for his project management certificate in November 2006.
