Jan joined Metro Nashville Government in 1984 transferring to the Division of Purchasing and Contract Management in 1986. Jan is responsible for processing purchase orders and notice of corrections. She has helped to write training materials and lead training sessions for Purchasing. Currently Jan is actively involved in the implementation of emerging purchasing technology. She maintains the supplier registration and assists suppliers in the registration process. Jan’s responsibility includes coordinating bid openings and the dissemination of bid information.
Jan is a native of Nashville, graduating from Isaac Litton High School.
