Metro Nashville was only six years old when Mr. Edwards came to the Purchasing Department in 1968! Pat has been instrumental in the transition from a paper based, tactical purchasing process to an emerging web-based, contract management technology. He has written training material for the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing and has a wealth of institutional knowledge.
Pat is a native Nashvillian who graduated from Isaac Litton High School and served in the US Navy prior to joining Metro. Pat is a Certified Public Purchasing Officer, Certified Professional Public Buyer and a recognized authority on the RFP Process.
