New solicitation will be issued for possible contractor additions in mid April. Proposals will not be received before the first business day after June 1 but due before 3:00 on the last business day prior to June 15.
Contractors with work order contracts are not guaranteed assignments. Awards for specific projects are competed among those firms with active work-order contracts. The awards are made to the lowest responsive and responsible evaluated offeror on Invitations to Bid (ITB) or to the highest scoring responsive and responsible offeror on Requests for Proposals (RFP).
It is not necessary for current contractors with work-order contracts to resubmit an offer, unless the contract is about to expire. From the time of the filing with the Metropolitan Clerk’s Office or the date stated in the contract, the life of a contract may not exceed 60 months.
