- 18 MNPS students graduated with International Baccalaureate Diplomas, a degree recognized around the world for it academic rigor.
- Metro Schools has been a statewide leader in recognizing the need for quality pre-kindergarten to prepare students for school success. As of the 2008 fiscal year, the district has 107 Pre-K classrooms, with 38 funded locally, 52 funded with State money, 15 blended classes of regular and special education children funded with local and federal dollars and two federally funded Title I classes.
