Jennifer is a native Nashvillian. She attended Davidson Academy grades K-12. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999 with a B.S. in Retail and Consumer Science.

After graduating from college she started her professional career as a Co-Sales Manager at Lane Bryant where she worked for 2 years. Then she worked for one year at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Radiation Oncology Department before coming to work for Metro Davidson County. Jennifer has been employed with Metro since April 2002. In the Metro Customer Service Center, Jennifer primarily responds to phone calls and e-mails from Nashville residents and Metro employees.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her 17 year-old sister, Laura. She thinks Laura is the greatest blessing of her life. She frequents the movies, and loves all kinds of music. She has a dog named Russell that is Pekingese. Currently, she is enrolled at Trevecca Nazarene University where she will be working towards obtaining a Master's in Education for grades K-6. Jennifer wants to be a teacher when she grows up!
