About Richard H. Fulton
Richard H. Fulton was born on January 27, 1927 and was the second mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville-Davidson County. In 1975, Richard H. Fulton was elected Mayor of Nashville and served three (3) terms until 1987. During his tenure as Mayor, he served as president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and the Tennessee Municipal League. Richard Fulton has built a successful career in business, public service and community leadership. He served the citizens of Nashville as a state senator, and a 7-term member of Congress.
