- All Metro agencies, except Hospitals, Circuit Court, Criminal Court, State Trial Courts, Sheriff’s office, Assessor of Property, Trustee’s Office, County Clerk, Register of Deeds, Metro Schools, Metro Transit Authority, Airport Authority, and Metro Development & Housing Agency.
- 3. Who do I call with questions regarding payments?
- Metro Payment Services > mps@nashville.gov > 615 880-1706.
- 4. When should I expect payment?
- If all terms and conditions have been met and the invoice has been sent to MPS on a timely basis, payment should be received within 2-3 days of the due date.
- 5. May I send an invoice electronically?
- Yes. A black and white, .TIF file is the best format for processing. However, we do accept all electronic files.
- 6. What information should be on the invoice?

(i.e., a number not used previously with Metro)

Metro Agency name and contact - 7. Can I charge sales tax to Metro?
- No. Metro is tax exempt.
- 8. Who do I contact for payment inquiry for Agencies not being processed by Metro Payment Services?
- You will need to contact those Agencies directly for payment inquiry.
- 9. May I be paid by ACH rather than by check?
- In the near future, this will be available.
