Opting Out of Metro's Medical and/or Dental Plan

Employees who can enroll in other medical or dental insurance may opt out of Metro’s health program. To opt out, you must provide proof of other coverage (plan name and policy number).

If you opt out and later lose your non-Metro medical or dental coverage, or have an eligible change in status event, you have 60 days to re-enroll in Metro's medical plan. For details, see your Annual Enrollment packet or call (615) 862-6700.
