Health Benefits for Pensioners
While on a service pension, you can change health care plans during Annual Enrollment. However, you may only add or delete dependents within 60 calendar days of an eligible change in status (see Eligible Change in Status).
NOTE: If you decline health care coverage at the time you retire, you cannot elect it at a later date.
