Conversion Rights
If you leave your job at Metro, your Basic Life and AD&D coverage ends. However, you may convert all or part of your life insurance coverage to an individual policy without providing proof of good health.
To convert your coverage to an individual policy, you must apply for and pay the first premium within 31 days after your coverage ends. Contact the insurance company for more information on your conversion rights.
