In-Service Training
Training is essential to the future of Metro. It provides opportunities for you to grow professionally and personally, ensures that our services are of high quality, and helps attract other talented employees.
The training department has numerous offerings, including two certificate programs. These certificate programs are an educational partnership with the Metro Human Resource Training Division and the Municipal Technical Advisory Service, an agency of the University of Tennessee .
The Metropolitan Management Institute (MMI) is the supervisory series comprised of 40 hours of instruction. This course is CEU approved.
