Appealing Board Decisions
If an individual appeal or request has been considered by the Benefit Board and has been denied or otherwise decided against a participant or beneficiary, the individual has a right to appeal. The appropriate appeal process depends on your Civil Service status. Attached is the notice regarding appeal rights. Please read carefully in order to see what appeal process applies in an individual's situation.
Appeal of Decisions
If an individual has Civil Service status and would like to appeal the Board's decision as a contested case under the Uniformed Administrative Procedures Act, below are the appeal procedures approved by the Benefit Board that will be followed for these appeals.
