Health Care Insurance for Pensioners
While on a service pension, you can change health care plans during Annual Open Enrollment. However, you may only add or delete dependents within 60 days of a life-changing event (see Eligible Change in Status).
NOTE: If you decline health care coverage at the time you retire, you cannot elect it at a later date.
