Metro In-Service Training Program
Announcing Metro Management Institute (MMI) Series Two
MMI Series Two features a completely updated class curriculum designed for supervisory staff. Just like the original series, you'll attend ten classes, four hours each, for forty hours of instruction. Something new is that the classes should now be taken in a prescribed order. Hence, you'll notice references to Class 1, Class 2, etc. We'll provide a form that will allow you to keep track easily of your progress through the classes.
Currently, there are three offerings of each class during Fall term (July - October 2007). We'll repeat the sequence in Winter term (Oct 2007 - March 2008), and in Spring term (March - June 2008). Enroll in the management series through your department's training coordinator, or by sending your selected class dates to the HR Training Requests emailbox (hrtrainingrequests@nashville.gov).
MMI Series Two is interactive: expect to take notes, participate in group exercises, and learn new management techniques. MMI Series Two should be a personally rewarding experience.
