MAYOR DEAN ANNOUNCES NEXT TOWN HALL MEETING
Event to take place in McGavock cluster at Donelson Middle
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 10, 2007) -
Mayor Karl Dean announced today the second scheduled Town Hall Meeting on Education will take place next Thursday in the library at Donelson Middle.
The event is open to the public. Parents, teachers, students and other engaged citizens are encouraged to come share their ideas and concerns about Metro Nashville Public Schools with the mayor.
In addition to the meeting, representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods, the PENCIL Foundation and PTOs in the school cluster will be available before and after the event to provide information about their services and programs.
Members of the McGavock High School String Orchestra will provide musical entertainment as participants arrive, and the event will kick-off with a performance by the McGavock High School Choir.
