Third Town Hall Meeting to take place in Goodlettsville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 6, 2007) -

Mayor Karl Dean’s third Town Hall Meeting on Education will take place next Monday at Old Center Elementary in Goodlettsville from 6 to 7 p.m.

The event is open to the public. Parents, teachers, students and other engaged community members are encouraged to come share their ideas and concerns about Metro Nashville Public Schools with the mayor.

In addition to the meeting, representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods, the PENCIL Foundation and PTOs in the school cluster will be available before and after the event to provide information about their services and programs.

The event will kick-off with a student performance by the Old Center Elementary School Choir.
