Mayor’s Small Business Summit scheduled for second week in December
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 20, 2007) -
Mayor Karl Dean will host a Small Business Summit on Dec. 11 at the Ezell Center on the campus of David Lipscomb University.
The event is intended to provide information to help small businesses stay and grow in Nashville. The program will include presentations on access to capital from representatives in the finance industry and a panel discussion with representatives from Metro Government departments.
The Tennessee chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business will give an economic report on small business in Nashville and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce will present an overview of small business trends.
Entrepreneurs and owners of small businesses and franchises are encouraged to attend. The event is free and open to the public. Online pre-registration for the event will start the last week of November at www.nashville.gov.
