Numerous volunteer opportunities are available to assist staff with daily operations at all locations. Opportunities include: clerical & technical assistance, summer reading program, storytellers & assistants, computer instructors, oral history transcribers, radio readers, special event assistants and more.
Parks
Become a volunteer at the Parthenon. Opportunities include clerical & technical assistance, and educational staff. A Docent training program is available in several areas of study.
Metro Beautification
Come join the many volunteer opportunities dedicated to beautifying Nashville.
Metro Codes: N.O.T.I.C.E. program
Volunteer to help enforce metro codes and improve and maintain neighborhoods.
Health Department
Become a public health volunteer. Be a part of MPHD's Emergency Preparedness Program.
Metro Social Services
Volunteer in the Nutrition Program delivering meals or in Adult Homemaker Services for homebound individuals.
Agricultural Extension
Become a Master Gardner and volunteer to educate others in horticulture.
