Function: The Wastewater Hearing Authority holds hearings upon appeals from orders or actions of the director, hearings relating to wastewater discharge permits, and hearings relating to any aspect in the administration of waste water issues in the Metropolitan Code. The Authority has the power to assess civil penalties not to exceed $10,000 per day.
