The Metropolitan Council met in special session on this date at 10:00 a.m. on the plaza of the Music City Central, pursuant to Section 1.08 of the Metropolitan Charter and the previous adoption of Resolution No. RS2009-731.
The invocation was offered by Reverend H. Bruce Maxwell of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church.
The Metropolitan Council gave the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.
The State of Metro Address by the Honorable Karl F. Dean, Metropolitan Mayor, was received by the Council.
The benediction was offered by Rabbi Saul Strosberg of Congregation Sherith Israel.
Upon motion duly seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
