The Metropolitan Council met in special session on this date at 10:00 a.m. at Riverfront Park, pursuant to Section 1.08 of the Metropolitan Charter and the prior adoption of Resolution No. RS2010-1162.
President Pro Tempore Sean McGuire led the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.
The invocation was offered by Reverend Raymond Bowman of Spruce Street Baptist Church.
President Neighbors called the meeting to order and introduced musical guests Alison Krauss and Dan Tyminski.
The State of Metro address was presented by The Honorable Karl F. Dean, Metropolitan Mayor.
The benediction was offered by Carter Crenshaw of West End Community Church.
The meeting was adjourned without objection.
