WHEREAS, the Bordeaux Women’s Club was formed at the Bordeaux Long Term Care Facility in July 2002; and

WHEREAS, the Bordeaux Babes have assisted with mass mailings for the Bordeaux Long-Term Care Facility Volunteer/Public Relations office and plan on hosting a birthday party in August for Baker, the Bordeaux Long-Term Care facility therapy dog; and

WHEREAS, the Bordeaux Babes are not looking for sympathy or empathy; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognizes the Bordeaux Babes on their many accomplishments.
