RESOLUTION NO. RS2004-614
A resolution requesting all departments of the Metropolitan Government to become familiar with the Councilmanic District boundary lines adopted in 2002.

WHEREAS, on January 15, 2002, the Metropolitan Council adopted the redistricting plan, as recommended by the planning commission, and the district councilmembers were elected in accordance with this plan at the August 2003 election; and
WHEREAS, certain members of Council have had experiences in which they have not been asked to sponsor legislation concerning property in their district or where there has been some confusion as to which district certain property is located; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Government departments become familiar with the council district boundaries.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
