RESOLUTION NO. RS2006-1306
A resolution approving an amendment to a lease by and between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and W.S. Investment Holdings, L.P. for the use of roof space (2006M-070U-09).
Whereas, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Director of Public Property Administration has entered into a lease agreement with W.S. Investment Holdings, L.P., attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
Whereas, said Agreement was approved by the Metropolitan Council by ordinance (Bill No. 093-690); and,
Whereas, the parties to the Agreement desire to amend the Agreement to add certain language to approve the Metropolitan Government's use of roof space on top of this building; and,
Whereas, any amendment to this lease agreement shall be approved via Resolution of the Metropolitan Council that receives at least twenty-one affirmative votes (Bill No. 097-1019; and
Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this Amendment be approved.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee:
Section 1. The proposed amendment to the lease between The Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Director of Public Property Administration and W.S. Investment Holdings Inc. (attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference) is approved and the Metropolitan Government's Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
