WHEREAS, Infinity Cat Recordings was begun on July 20, 2002 by Jake, Jamin and Robert Ellis Orrall, and is marking ten years as what Warner Brothers Records recently called a “family-owned, super cool, vinyl-centered record label, which has been a pillar of support for Nashville bands since 2002 with over 70 releases to date”; and
WHEREAS, Infinity Cat Recordings has been honored by the Nashville Scene as “Nashville’s Best Record Label in 2010” and was named last year by Billboard Magazine as number 10 on their list of Top 50 Indie Labels in America; and
WHEREAS, Infinity Cat music is heard on radio, films, and TV networks such as MTV, Comedy Central and Cartoon Network, as well as video games like Sony’s Major League Baseball 2012; and
WHEREAS, Infinity Cat works closely with local companies such as Jive Printing, Grimey’s Records, and United Record Pressing where they have pressed over 30 vinyl titles; and
WHEREAS, Jake and Jamin Orrall, also known as JEFF The Brotherhood are “seen by many to be latter-day pioneers of the Nashville rock scene” and travel over 200 days a year around the world as critically acclaimed ambassadors of Music City’s growing and diversifying music scene; and
WHEREAS, Infinity Cat continues to be owned by the Orralls and band manager Holland Nix and celebrates ten years of helping to lift local bands, like Heavy Cream, PUJOL, Be Your Own Pet and Natural Child to the national spotlight; and
