We've posted new profile information for 77 of Metro Nashville's neighborhoods - thes profiles include average home prices and other statistical information, maps/aerial views, and school locations. They're on our Neighborhood Profiles page.
Madison community meetings begin July 31
Residents, property owners, and other stakeholders can make a difference in Madison's future at a series of public meetings which will begin July 31.

Metro Government joins Google "Cities in 3D" program
Three-dimensional models of nearly every building in Davidson County are now available online through Google Earth, and those 3D images are based on data provided by the Metro Planning Department. This new perspective will help expanding and relocating companies find the sites they need - the Mayor's Office of Economic and Community Development says it's a "convenient, cutting-edge showcase for all our city has to offer."

Public hearing July 24 on Scottsboro/Bells Bend plan
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Scottsboro/Bells Bend Detailed Design Plan as part of its regular meeting on July 24. The meeting begins at 4 pm, and the hearing at 6 - details are on our Bordeaux/Whites Creek community page

Final draft of 12th Avenue South plan is now online
The plan is based on community input from several months of public meetings; it addresses neighborhood character and development along 12th South from Wedgwood Avenue to I-440. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the plan during the July 24 regular meeting.

Revised draft of new land-use policy document is now online
The “Community Character Manual,” currently in draft form, will eventually update and replace the Land Use Policy Application, which outlines land-use policy for Nashville and Davidson County.The draft manual is on our CCM webpage. This draft is a revised copy (posted July 17) which incorporates comments from the community received during the recent comment period.
The Planning Commission will hold a work session to review and discuss the Manual from 2:30 - 4:30 pm Monday, July 28, in the Nashville Room at the Metro Office Building, 800 Second Avenue South.
Bakertown/Antioch Pike public meetings continue July 31
Planners presented a draft "concept plan" for the Bakertown neighborhood at a community meeting July 17; the plan addresses neighborhood concerns about traffic and industrial zoning.
