Development Activity Mapping Site

mapThis site shows approved new development in Davidson County from 2000 to the present, including:

  • Zone changes approved by the Metro Council
  • Preliminary PUDSs (Planned Unit Developments) approved by the Metro Council
  • Final subdivision plats approved by the Metro Planning Commission
  • Building permits valued over $50,000 (commercial and residential, rehab and new) issued by the Metro Codes Department

To use the site -

  1. Click "I Agree" below to enter the mapping site.
  2. Under the "Criteria" tab, select beginning and ending years for your search.
  3. Click the check boxes to select the information layers you're interested in, then click "Update Map" to refresh the map with those layers.
  4. Click the magnifying glass tool, then draw a box on the map to select the area you want to see.
  5. Use the information tool (the circle and white I at the top of the page) to learn more about specific properties; click on the tool first, then the parcel.
  6. Note that the other tabs are structured similarly to the tabs on the Mapping site on Metro Planning's web page.
