North Nashville Community Plan (Subarea 8)

 

Germantown mapAmendment to Germantown Neighborhood Plan considered in conjunction with Historic Zoning

At its April 24 meeting, the Metro Planning Commission will consider two items related to Germantown - a Historic Zoning district and an amendment to the Germantown Detailed Neighborhood Design Plan (DNDP). While the amendment to the DNDP will be approved or disapproved solely at Planning Commission, the final decision on Historic Zoning district will be made by Metro Council.

Metro Planning staff held a community meeting on the amendment to the neighborhood plan in February and has since been considering comments from that meeting. A new draft of the proposed amendments is now available , as well as a report from the staff on the questions asked by stakeholders at the community meeting and in comment forms.

The North Nashville Community plan has been amended. The documents on this page include amendments through February 10, 2005 as well as Detailed Neighborhood Design Plans (DNDPs) as amended through February 10, 2005.

The land use policies that are shown on the Structure Plan maps in the Community Plan and in the DNDPs are contained in a document called the Land Use Policy.
