Talent Development is the process of developing or increasing skills through Workforce Investment Act training funds for customers who lack the necessary skills to achieve self-sufficient employment or to customers who are looking to get one step further in their careers.How can I get information regarding Incumbent Worker and other employer training programs?
NCAC utilizes training funds to improve the economic conditions of the Middle Tennessee Region. As determined by an industry survey, specific industries are targeted for training support. Special grants also help employers hire and train workers.
On-the-Job Training, Incumbent Worker grants, Disability Navigator and High Technology Skills are all training grants funded by the Department of Labor & Workforce Development and administered by our agency at a local level.
