Veterans - Eligibility
The Jobs for Veterans Act provides provisions for priority of service for veterans and eligible spouses. If you are or have served in the military, naval or air service, or are the spouse of someone who has or is serving, please let your career coach know. You may be eligible for priority of NCAC Services.
The veterans’ priority of service requirements does not change basic eligibility criteria for individual programs. Individuals must first qualify for a specific program before priority of service is applied.
It is important to review specific program requirements for the individual program. NCAC’s Veterans policy provides guidance on how these federal regulations implementing priority of service are to be applied to all workforce preparation, development or delivery programs or services provided by NCAC, or its sub recipient contractors, which are directly funded, in whole or in part, by the Department of Labor.
