Metro Public Works Sends Heavy Equipment To Sumner County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At the request of Sumner County Emergency Management officials, Metro Public Works has dispatched heavy equipment to the Bethpage Community of Sumner County to remove trees from roadways blocking storm damage areas. The tree removal will allow first responders to help storm victims and gain access to storm damaged neighborhoods.

Metro Public Works has sent two front-end loaders with grapple buckets, a lowboy trailer and two equipment operators.
