Partial Activation of Metro's Emergency Operations Center Underway

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has partially activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) effective 2:30 p.m. CDT in response to a developing severe weather situation.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Davidson County that remains in effect until 3:15 p.m. CDT. Metro OEM staff is monitoring the weather situation and damage reports across Davidson County.
Metro agencies activated are: Police, Fire, Public Works, Metro Water Services, Emergency Communications Center, OEM, General Services and NES.
Updated information will be released from the Emergency Operations Center as it becomes available.
