About Us
The Metro Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of facilities and programs throughout Davidson County. Currently, there are 115 properties on over nearly 11,000 acres of land. There’s something for everyone, including passive and active recreation activities. We offer senior programs, special population programs, cultural arts classes, dog parks, a variety of trails, nature programs, sports leagues, art galleries, and much more. See for yourself!
MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation to provide every citizen of Nashville and Davidson County with an equal opportunity for safe recreational and cultural activities within a network of parks and greenways that preserves and protects the region's natural resources.
