To meet Nashville’s growing demand for diverse recreation and wellness opportunities, Metro Parks has developed a system of regional recreation centers across the city. These facilities offer a wide range of programs and services for people of all ages and abilities.
Each of our regional recreation facilities include a fully-equipped fitness center with the latest aerobic and strengthening equipment, gymnasium, indoor walking/running track, dance/exercise studio, arts and crafts room, multi-use meeting space and game room. In addition, each center offers specialized features unique to their location. These include the “black-box” theatre at East Park, teaching kitchen at Coleman Park, computer lab at Hadley Park, and the Disabilities Recreation Program at Hartman Park.
Program offerings at these centers reflect the diverse interests of the surrounding community. Activities are offered for all ages and abilities and include group fitness classes, youth and adult sports, dance classes, senior recreation/social programs, arts classes, aquatic programs, free play, and youth out-of-school programs.
Regional Recreation Center Hours of Operation:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM
Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Fees for memberships and programs are very reasonable. In addition, many programs and services for youth and senior citizens are provided at no cost.
Facilities are also available for private rentals. Meeting rooms may be reserved during or after operating hours, and most areas may be rented outside of normal operating hours.
